EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT KANGAROO GROUP

The Kangaroo Group is an association of members of the European Parliament, Commission and Council and representatives of industry and academia working to enhance European unity step by step around the pursuit of common projects. The motto of the Kangaroo Group is free movement and security.

The objectives of the Kangaroo Group are the following:

  1. A safe and prosperous Europe for citizens
  2. The removal of any remaining barriers to the four freedoms (free movement of goods, persons and capital)
  3. A regulatory environment in Europe which ensures and improvers the competitiveness of European industry in world markets.
  4. A competitive social market economy founded on the principle of subsidiarity
  5. The stability of the euro
  6. Effective measures to secure the external borders of the Union
  7. A common security and defence policy
