WELCOME TO CROATIA THE 28TH MEMBER OF THE EU !!!

AALEP which has entered into a Protocol of Co-operation with the Croatia’s Society of Lobbyists extends a heartfelt welcome to Croatia on  becoming the 28th Member State of the European Union. Croatia brings to Europe its undisputable natural beauty and historic heritage, but, most important of all, Croatia brings its people.

On this special occasion AALEP is especially pleased to recognize Mr. Natko Vlahovic, the Founder of VLAHOVIC GROUP, the first specialized government relations and political lobbying firm in Croatia with offices in Zagreb and Brussels. VLAHOVIC GROUP was launched in 2008 as a unique consulting business in Croatia with the repertoire of services partnering with clients from the private, public and non-profit sectors to deal with government policies, including their efforts to ensure national and EU funding. Natko who is a good friend of AALEP's Chair is also the Secretary General of the Croatian Lobbyists' Society, an NGO advocating for regulation of lobbying and the mandatory registration for all who wish to influence the executive and legislative branch of government. In 2007, Natko co-founded the Croatia-EU Business Council in order to promote trade and investments between the EU and Croatia; to assist companies in developing business opportunities; to promote dialogue between governments and companies; to help solve market access difficulties and overcome regulatory obstacles both for Croatian businesses in the EU and EU businesses in Croatia. The Croatia-EU Business Council (CEUBC) is the only private sector in Croatia or Brussels promoting business activities between Croatia and the EU and its member states.
