Acumen: Anneleen Ghekiere and Stephany Vargas have joined Acumen Public Affairs as consultants. In addition, Acumen has announced a host of promotions: Brendan Moran is now associate director, Alex King account director, Maxime Lambert consultant, Zachary McGuinness consultant, Felix Sames consultant, Marta Provencio consultant, Carlotta Villa consultant.

AmCham EU: AmCham EU  has also announced a host of promotions: Thibaut L’Ortye is now director of public affairs, Stefano Marmo is senior policy manager, Emilie Bartolini is associate policy manager, Mia Dragojlovic is senior events and marketing coordinator and Nick Pawley is senior content adviser.

APCO Woldwide: Richard Burn, a former British trade official, has returned to APCO Worldwide as senior adviser. Paolo Compostella, currently managing director of APCO’s Rome and Milan offices, is set to become CEO Europe. Janet Sippy, currently Europe finance director, has been promoted to COO. Meanwhile, Robert Ardelt, currently managing director of the Berlin and Frankfurt offices, will become chief innovation officer worldwide.

Apple: Emma Wilson is starting as Apple’s communications lead in Brussels. She was previously working as a director for public affairs firm APCO.

Cambre Associates: Victoria Main has been elected to the board of directors of the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU. The mandates of Leah Charpentier (First Solar) and Claudia Selli (AT&T) on the board were also renewed for a second term.

Dr2 Consultants Brussels: Dr2 Consultants has welcomed Jeroen Lammers as associate partner. Viktoria Vajnai has been promoted to partner at Dr2 Consultants. Niels van den Ouden has been promoted to senior consultant.

Eurofound: Ivailo Kalfin is now executive director of Eurofound.

European Copper Institute: Quentin de Hults, formerly with BASF and the Modern Building Alliance, has joined the European Copper Institute as director, green and healthy buildings. Anna-Maria Karjalainen has joined the institute as director, clean energy transition after nine years at Hume Brophy.

European University Association: Tia Loukkola has just been named deputy secretary-general of the European University Association.

European Women’s Lobby: Laura Kaun is now policy and campaigns officer at the European Women’s Lobby.

Facebook: Hadelin Feront will soon start a new position as a public policy manager, dangerous organizations at Facebook, focusing on issues such as far-right extremism and white supremacy.

FleishmanHillard: Simon Terwagne has joined FleishmanHillard as a vice president and associate director in the environment and chemicals team. He was previously EMEA lead for agriculture, environment & sustainability policy at Bayer Crop Science, and Formacare’s secretary-general at the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC).

FTI Consulting:  Former British Minister of State for Energy and Clean Growth Claire O’Neill joined FTI Consulting as a senior adviser in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region within the firm’s strategic communications segment.

Hanover Health: Aleksandra Lugović has joined Hanover Health as an associate director.

HeidelbergCement: Winston Beck has left Kreab to join HeidelbergCement as the company’s representative in Brussels.

industriAll European Trade Union:  The industriAll European Trade Union has elected Luc Triangle as general Secretary, Isabelle Barthès and Judith Kirton-Darling as deputy general secretaries and Michael Vassiliadis as president.

International Federation of Automotive Aftermarket Distributors: Cor Baltus is the new president of the International Federation of Automotive Aftermarket Distributors.

MUST & Partners: Chulani Sakuntala Mahagamage is now a policy adviser at MUST & Partners.

SESAR: Sesar Joint Undertaking’s Executive Director Florian Guillermet will step down in July to take up a new position as CEO of DSNA, France’s air navigation services provider.

SGI Europe (Formerly known as the European Centre of Employers and Enterprises providing Public Services and Services of general interest (CEEP) has reelected Valeria Ronzitti as general secretary of SGI Europe, with a mandate running until 2026.

Society of European Affairs Professionals (SEAP): The Society of European Affairs Professionals has elected a new board. Paul Varakas (European Cigar Manufacturers Association), was elected president, Emma Brown (Red Flag) and Stefano Marmo (AmCham EU) were elected vice presidents. Also on the board are Andrea Chiarello (Pfizer) and Yiannis Korkovelos (Philip Morris International).

The Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME): The Association of Financial Markets in Europe  has announced that Thalia Chryssikou, head of global sales strats & structuring at Goldman Sachs, has been appointed as chair of the board.

The European Container Glass Federation: The European Container Glass Federation  has elected Vitaliano Torno as its new president. Martin Petersson was elected vice president.

The Sustainable Accounting Standards Board: The Sustainable Accounting Standards Board has announced its merger with global reporting framework International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), forming the Value Reporting Foundation.
