AMCHAM: Simona Popa, InterDigital’s senior director, government relations and regulatory affairs, Europe, has been elected chair of AmCham EU’s intellectual property committee for a two-year term. 

ARGO AI: Maria D’Amico has started a new role as EU public policy manager at Argo AI, having previously worked at ADAC. She is based in Munich. 

Association of Commercial Television and Video on Demand Services: Vlad-Florin Vita has joined the Association of Commercial Television and Video on Demand Services in Europe as a junior policy officer. 

BASF: Shradha Abt-Bhatnagar, currently deputy head of office EU government relations at the BASF Group, has been promoted to head of sustainability strategy. 

Bayer:  Claire Berringer has joined Bayer as European Parliament relations manager. She previously worked at Quorum and the British National Farmers’ Union. 

BSA: Matteo Quattrocchi has been promoted to director, policy — EMEA. 

COCA-COLA: Wouter Vermeulen is now senior director of sustainability Europe at Coca-Cola. 

Dentons Global Advisors-Albright Stonebridge: Erik Brattberg has joined Dentons Global Advisors-Albright Stonebridge Group in Washington, DC as senior vice president for Europe & Eurasia

Deutsche Bank: Malte Kilian was promoted to head of Brussels office at Deutsche Bank. 

DOORDASH: Fabian Ladda has joined DoorDash as head of government relations for Germany and the EU. He was previously Lime’s director for public policy, DACH + EU. 

EDELMAN: Ognjenka Manojlovic has been promoted to associate director, head of food & nutrition policy at Edelman. 

EDELMAN: Clara Hervas is now an account director within Edelman Brussels’ Health and Wellbeing team. She previously worked at EURORDIS-Rare Diseases Europe 

EPC: Andrea G. Rodríguez is joining the EPC as policy analyst lead for the EU digital agenda. 

EUROCHAMBRES : Luc Frieden has begun his term as president of EUROCHAMBRES. 

European Asylum Support Office: Andrew McKinlay has started a new role as communications and press officer at the European Asylum Support Office

European Confederation of Pharmaceutical Entrepreneurs (EUCOPE): Dante Di Iulio has joined the European Confederation of Pharmaceutical Entrepreneurs (EUCOPE) as communications & business development manager.

EUTOP Group: Walter Tombrock and Christian Schaufler have taken over the leadership of the EUTOP Group from company founder Klemens Joos, who will serve as chairman of the advisory board. 

EXXONMOBIL: Bart Vermeulen is the new manager of EU affairs for ExxonMobil, taking over from Johan Scharpé, who takes on the role of public & governments affairs manager for the Benelux countries. 

FINSBURY GLOVER HERING: Denis Simonneau has joined Finsbury Glover Hering’s team in Paris as a senior adviser. 

FIPRA: Peter Tulkens joins the partnership at FIPRA. 

FoodDrinkEurope: FoodDrinkEurope has appointed Dirk Jacobs as its new director general. He takes over from Mella Frewen. 

Fortescue Future Industries: Rory Macrae is now working on external relations for Europe at Fortescue Future Industries.

FOURTOLD: Kevin Butler has moved from the role of senior consultant to managing consultant, digital at Fourtold. 

HUAWEI: Andreas Aktoudianakis is now senior manager EU government affairs at Huawei. He was previously EU lead digital policy analyst at the European Policy Centre. Meanwhile, Andrea G. Rodríguez is joining the EPC as policy analyst lead for the EU digital agenda. 

International Associations of Privacy Professionals: The International Association of Privacy Professionals hired KPMG’s Mark Thompson as its new director of research and Katharina Koerner, CEO of the Österreich Institut, as its new senior fellow for privacy engineering. 

Instinctif Partners: José Arroyo has started a new role as an account executive at Instinctif Partners. He previously worked at the Fair Trade Advocacy Office in Brussels. David Ponente and Domenico Sorrentino have joined as research assistants.

NOKIA: Mathilde Maury has started a new role as a Brussels-based government affairs manager within Nokia’s government affairs international team. 

Ørsted: Lauren Heeffer is now head of market & sustainability communications at Ørsted. She previously worked at Weber Shandwick. 

PFIZER: Yordan Aleksandrov is joining Pfizer’s EU government affairs team as a senior manager. He previously worked at RPP Group. 

Rasmussen Global: Tim Allan is now communications director at Rasmussen Global.

Renewable Hydrogen Coalition: Norsk Hydro’s Hydro Havrand has joined the Renewable Hydrogen Coalition. 

RISE: Nicholas Jackson is now director, purpose and sustainability at RISE.  Meanwhile, RISE welcomed Charles Perry as its first U.K.-based partner in London.
