Bellona Europa: Michał Wendołowski, formerly of Fertilizers Europe, is now climate policy and technology manager for Central and Eastern Europe at Bellona Europa.

Brunswick Group: John Rega who is Politico Europe’s financial services editor will be joining Brunswick Group in April.

Cambre Associates: Belinda Delys has joined Cambre Associates as a senior consultant focused on healthcare and wellbeing. She was previously a communication and patient advocacy manager at Novartis.

Canvendish: Former trade negotiator David Henig has been appointed to Cavendish Advocacy’s advisory council.

Ceemet (the metal, engineering and technology-based industry employers in Europe): Ceemet  has elected Hubert Mongon, CEO of French federation UIMM, as chairman of its board of directors.

Consultancy Portland: Luke Baker, former Reuters bureau chief in Brussels, Paris and Jerusalem, is joining consultancy Portland.

Covington & Burling: Johan Ysewyn has been promoted to managing partner at the Brussels office .

Deutsche Bank: Deutsche Bank has named Sven Afhüppe, the former editor-in-chief at Handelsblatt, as global head of political affairs on Tuesday. He’ll be based in Berlin  reporting to top executive Christian Sewing while current government-affairs boss Christian Berendes will focus more on regulatory topics and run administrative operations.

Digestive Cancers Europe: Digestive Cancers Europe has appointed  Zorana Maravic as acting CEO.

Edelman: Jarek Świerczyna has joined Edelman as account director on the sustainability team. He previously worked at the European Commission and the Single Resolution Board.

Euriogas: Victor Bernabeu has joined Eurogas, the association representing the European gas sector, as a senior policy adviser. He was a senior technical and regulatory affairs manager at ePURE, the European association for the renewable ethanol industry.

European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers (FEFCO): FEFCO  has appointed Eleni Despotou as secretary-general.

European Policy Centre: Former Scottish MEP Aileen McLeod and former adviser at the European Political Strategy Centre Ricardo Borges de Castro have been named associate directors at the EPC.

EUROPEN (European organization for packaging and the environment): Sévrine Pereira Teixeira is now EU public affairs and communications manager

Fabula: Lithuanian agency Fabula has joined the Rud Pedersen Group. The company now has a presence in eight countries.

Facebook: Eva-Maria Kirschsieper will become Facebook’s first public policy director for sustainability, EMEA, at the end of February.

Fourtold: Fourtold has named Omar Mockbil as managing director of its EU advocacy communications business in Brussels. He previously worked for Hill+Knowlton Strategies’ Brussels team.

FTI Consulting: Anja Ivić, a former communications attaché for the Croatian Council presidency, is now a consultant for strategic communications at FTI Consulting.

Honda Motor Europe: Connor Allen, formerly an adviser in the U.K. Liberal Democrat delegation in the European Parliament, has joined Honda Motor Europe to provide an enhanced government affairs presence in Brussels.

Huawei: Uroš-Valentino Saraja, a former European Parliament staffer who also worked for the Croatian presidency of the Council of the EU, is now a senior manager for public affairs at Huawei.

Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët: Marie Museux, Pernod Ricard’s European regulatory affairs manager, is joining Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët’s public affairs and legal team, focusing on the champagne and cognac portfolio.

Oxfam: Jade Tenwick, a former policy adviser to British MEP Irina von Wiese, has taken over as media officer at Oxfam EU.

Raytheon Missile Defense and Raytheon Intelligence & Space: Anna Tobur is now international communications director. She previously worked for Weber Shandwick.

Teneo: Jan Hromadko has joined Teneo, where he will be working as a director focusing on sustainability, antitrust and competition issues. A former journalist, he most recently worked for Brunswick in Brussels.

UPS: Daniel Carrera has been named UPS’s new president for Europe, leading 50,000 employees across the region. Carrera has been with UPS since 2005, spending part of his career in Brussels to do business development and most recently serving as president of the West Europe District.

Vodafone: Darren Ennis is now a senior EU affairs adviser at Vodafone. His work focuses on the post-coronavirus recovery and ensuring the EU and member countries prioritize funding for increased internet and broadband access, as well as digital skills, SMEs and greater connectivity and digital resilience.
