TOP 40 COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD BY GDP

Based on the World Bank the top 40 countries of the world by GDP are shown here below. The table shows that a little bit of growth in the U.S. will go a lot farther than a lot of growth out of China.

In terms of GDP size the U.S. comes first with $ 16.2 trillion, followed by China $ 9 trillion, Japan $ 5.1 trillion, Germany $ 3.6 trillion, France $ 2.7 trillion, Brazil $ 2.5 trillion, U.K. $ 2.4 trillion, Russia $ 2.2 trillion , Italy $ 2.1 trillion and India $ 2.0 trillion. It takes Germany, France, Brazil, UK, Russia and Italy to equate their combined GDP with that of the United States.
