Organisme indépendant, le Groupe d’études géopolitiques est un think tank, un centre de recherche innovant et un éditeur scientifique, domicilié à l’École normale supérieure, disposant d'un bureau à Bruxelles. Fondé en 2017, reconnu d’intérêt général par le ministère français de l’Action et des Comptes publics en 2019, le GEG s’est imposé en quelques années comme un acteur de référence pour le débat stratégique, politique et intellectuel à l’échelle continentale.
Il édite la revue le Grand Continent.
