• Association of European Producers of Steel for Packaging (APEAL): Viliam Gašpar of U.S. Steel Košice  has been appointed as the new president.
• Association of German Banks: Kolja Gabriel has been named managing director responsible for European and international affairs. He represents the BdB at the executive committee of the European Banking Federation (EBF).
• CEEREAL (Breakfast cereals lobby): David Carpintero has been hired as director-general, and Nina Elzer to be its new head of public affairs and communications.
• CEFIC: Nicola Rega has joined Cefic as director of energy. Peter Botschek  former director of energy, will head the organization’s industrial policy and competitiveness team. Meanwhile,  Florie Gonsolin  former manager for energy and climate, is taking over as director of climate change transformation, while Servet Gören will be in charge of international affairs. Irene van Luijken will now lead a project on organizational change communications.
• Centre for Diplomacy at Mathias Corvinus Collegium (Budapest): Rodrigo Ballester who served in former Hungarian Commissioner Tibor Navracsics‘ cabinet has been named head of the Centre.
• Cisco: Laurianne Giet is now communications manager .
• Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies (CER): Alberto Mazzola is now executive director of CER.
• Confederation of Finnish Industries: Kaisa Soro-Pesonen has been appointed head of the Brussels office for the Confederation of Finnish Industries, joining from the Cabinet of Commissioner Jutta Urpilainen.
• Confederation of Swedish Enterprises: Charlotte Andersdotter will become head of the EU office in Brussels. The current head of office, Anders Edholm will become senior vice president for communications of SCA, a Swedish forest, wood, pulp, paper and renewable energy company.
• CropLife Europe (the newly-formed lobbying outfit for the pesticides industry that has replaced the European Crop Protection Association) has hired Alan Hardacre to be its new director of public affairs. Hardacre was previously the director of corporate public affairs for Imperial Brands, one of the world’s largest tobacco companies.
• Doctors Without Borders: Judith Sargentini, former Dutch Green MEP has been named deputy director of Doctors Without Borders in the Netherlands.
• E3G:  Theresa Griffin former MEP for North West England has joined E3G as a senior associate. Her work will involve “supporting the Clean Economy team to engage stakeholders with an interest in the social dimensions of the EU’s Green Deal.”
• Edelman: Gianmaria Sisti has joined Edelman as head of digital. He was previously at Cambre.
• Edelman: Ognjenka  Manijlovic has been promoted to account director and appointed head of food and nutrition.
• European Business Association for Demand-Side Flexibility: Michael Villa has been appointed as executive director of the European business association for demand-side flexibility supporting the clean energy transition, smartEn.
• European Council of Young Farmers: Samuel Masse, Vice President of the European Council of Young Farmers is taking over the position of CEJA president until June 2021.
• European Thrombosis and Haemostasis Alliance (ETHA): Ingrid Pabinger-Fasching has been elected as the new chair of the ETHA for a two-year term.
• European University Institute: Erik Jones will join the European University Institute in September as the new director of the Robert Schuman Centre.
• Euros/Agency/Africa:  Ndeye Diarra Diobaye has joined as associate director.
• France Industrie:  Pierre Laffont until recently EU affairs manager at ASD Europe, is now head of the EU office.
• GasNaturally: Dawn Summers chief operating officer of Europe’s largest independent gas and oil producer Wintershall Dea, is now president of GasNaturally.
• Hague Corporate Affairs: Aleksandar Mihail Atanasov has been promoted to adviser for European affairs.
• Independent Consultancy: Stéphanie O’Keeffe, a former strategic communications officer at the European External Action Service, has launched an independent consultancy.
• Inline Policy: Aymeric Leruste has joined Inline Policy as executive director and head of its Brussels office. Prior to joining Inline, he spent seven years at Edwards Lifesciences.
• Institute of European Environmental Policy (IEPP):  Thimothy Gore, OXFAM’s head of policy, advocacy and research for the GROW campaign, has moved on to leading the climate and circular economy team.
• Institute of Security and Global Affairs (ISGA): Steven Hill  former chief legal counsel to NATO secretaries-general Jens Stoltenberg and Anders Fogh Rasmussen, has been appointed associate senior policy fellow .
• Jones Day: Global law firm practice Jones Day has appointed Cristiana Spontoni to the position of practice leader, health care & life sciences.
• Kreab Worldwide: Theodoros Birmpoutsoukis has been promoted to director. He works in the area of policy, regulatory compliance and government affairs, competition and tech.
• NOVE:  Michal Nycz,  a former associate director at Kreab Worldwide, has joined public affairs and communications firm NOVE as a senior consultant.
• Pfizer: Andrea Chiarello is now director, head of the EU government affairs, for Pfizer.
• PwC Luxembourg:  After completing a four-year term as vice president of the European Investment Bank, Andrew McDowell has recently become partner at PwC Luxembourg.
• Rail Forum Europe: Ilja Volpi is starting a new role as executive secretary of the managing board of Rail Forum Europe.
• Rud Pedersen Public Affairs: Martino Canonico has joined Rud Pedersen Public Affairs as a consultant.
• Sonder: Daniel Dyball has joined as senior director for public policy, EMEA.
• Teneo: Monica Frassoni former Green MEP has been hired as a senior adviser.
• Transparency International: Nick Aiossa has become deputy director and head of policy and advocacy for the Brussels office.
• ZN: Irem Ates has been promoted to account director at ZN, responsible for accounts such as Coca-Cola Public Policy EU.
• Zoom: Giulia Pastorella has become Zoom’s EU director, joining from Weber Shandwick.
