PROFILE: THE EUROPEAN SOCIETY OF ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVES (ESAE)
The European Society of Association Executives (ESAE) is the voice of association leaders in Europe and a platform for senior-level association managers in Europe.
ESAE believes that associations play an essential role in European society and policy-making and aims to strengthen the role of the sector and its people. It does this through networking, education, advocacy and community-building activities.
Education and Training
ESAE specialises in peer2peer training- offering regular continuous education sessions on key topics. These are devised and led by association professionals for association professionals. ESAE has teamed up with the Solvay Business School in Brussels to deliver the Executive Master in International Association Management, taught by academics and practitioners. ESAE partners up with the key industry platform such as the European Association Summit, IMEX, IBTM, The Meetings Show to offer tailored sessions to a larger association community.
Setting Standards
ESAE promotes association management as a profession and aims to set standards for excellent association leadership through the Executive Master programme, training sessions and white papers. ESAE aims to highlight the value of the association profession to boards, industry and policymakers. ESAE strives to keep its members informed about the latest technological, regulatory and political developments through its education programme, website and newsletter.
Networking and Exchange
ESAE offers many opportunities for face-to-face exchanges. While the focus is on Brussels, sessions at key industry events and peer2peer seminars in other European destinations open up the network for everyone. In addition, its online members' area provides oppotrtunities to connect and exchange ideas.
