According to Alliance for Transparency and Ethics Regulation (ALTER-EU) a number of actors are absent from the European Union Transparency Register (EUTR) although they are engaged in lobbying activities either directly or indirectly.

1. Financial Actors absent from the EUTR: The City of London Corporation; Credit Suisse; Standard & Poors
2. Lobby Consultancies absent from the EUTR: EUTOP International; Ketchum; PACT European Affairs, Eacon Group
3. Law Firms absent from the EUTR: Covington & Burling, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer; Hogan Lovells; Clifford Chance; Mayer Brown; Keller Heckman; Denton; Field Fisher Waterhouse
4. Big Companies: Electrabel; Anglo-American; General Motors; Ajinomoto; Vinci Group; Prysmian; Northrop Gruman International Group; Linde; Swisscom; Maersk.
5. Associations: Swiss Bankers Association; Finans Norge; European Banking Industry Committee (BIC)
