Some Foreign Missions need counselling on dealing with the EU. Here below are the core services to be provided:
- Provide assistance and advice as requested to the Foreign Mission in the task of securing and furthering the interests of the country within the European Union in the political, economic, cultural and other fields;
- Providing strategic advice;
- Assisting with request for aid;
- Making contacts with EU officials
- Assisting in officials' visits to the European Union;
- Utilize corporate contacts and work with the business community in the EU to improve the country's image for investment;
- Identify as early as possible any weaknesses and/or problem areas in the country's image at the EU level and advise on ways to deal with such areas of concern.
