NEW ASSOCIATION OF AVOCATS LOBBYISTES/LAWYER-LOBBYISTS IN FRANCE

L'Association des Avocats Lobbyistes (AAL) a pour objet de promouvoir le rôle des avocats dans la représentation d'intérêts et contribuer à la professionalisation de cette activité, amorcée depuis plusieurs années. L'Association est ouverte aux avocats et aux juristes d'entreprise qui ont un rôle décisif dans les actions de leur entreprise.

Le lobbying dans sa conception moderne est une composante légitime du système démocratique auquel il participe; il s'inscrit d'abord dans une logique d'informations des décideurs publics, nationaux et européens.

Les avocats, traditionnellement à l'intersection des procesus de création, d'interprétation et d'application des normes jouent un rôle historique et naturel de conseil en matière réglementaire.

L'AAL a été présentée à "Campus", l'université d'été des avocats de Paris, le 12 juillet 2011 à l'UNESCO.

L'Association proposera, via un site internet en construction, des actions ponctuelles, et les informations pertinentes sur l'activité de lobbyiste.

The French Lawyer-Lobbyists Association has for purpose to promote the role of lawyers in the representation of interests and contribute to the professionalization of this activity that started sevral years ago. The Association is open to lawyers and corporate legal counsels who have a decisive role in the lobbying activities of their company.

Lobbying in its modern concept is a legitimate component of the democratic system in which it participates: It functions first and foremost in the logic of information for domestic and European decision-makers.

Lawyers who traditionally are at the intersection of the creation, interpretation and implementation of regulatory standards play an historical and natural role as counsels within the regulatory environment.

The Association was presented at "Campus' the lawyers' summer university in Paris on 12 July 2011 at UNESCO.

The Association will propose via an Internet website under construction specific actions and pertinent information on lobbyists' activities.
