NEW APPOINTMENTS IN BRUSSELS

1. Ms. Monique Pariat and Mr. Mihael Dumitru have been appointed by the European Commission as Deputy Directors-General in the Department for Agriculture and Rural Development.
2. Mr. Declan Costello has been appointed as Director of Economics of the Member States I in the Economic and Financial Affairs Directorate-General (ECOFIN)
3. The European Commission has appointed three new members of the Scientific Council, the governing body of the European Research Council (ERC).
4. Ms. Joanna Maycock, currently Director for Country Coordination for ActionAid International has been appointed as new Secretary General by the European Women's Lobby (EWL).
5. Mr. Liam English has been appointed as new Communications Director by the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Association (EFPIA).
6. Mr. Gregg Swingen has joined United Parcel Service of North America (UPS) as International Director for Public Relations and Communications.
7. Ms. Anna Lekson has been appointed Senior Public Affairs Manager by the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EVCA)
8. Dr. Kevin Bradley, the former President of the Nickel Institute has joined Hume Brophy as Managing Director of the agency's Environment, Natural Resources and Energy practice.
