NEW APPOINTMENTS IN BRUSSELS

1. Mr. Yang Yani from the Communist Party of China's (CPC) international relations department has been appointed as the New Chinese Ambassador to the European Union.

2. Mr. Stefaan De Rynck has been named Head of Unit for Free Movement of Capital in the European Commission's Department for the Internal Market and Services.

3. Mr. Nicolas Gilbert-Morin has been appointed Head of Cabinet by Mr. László Andor, the European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion.

4. Mr. Pier Luigi Gilibert has been appointed as Chief Executive of the European Investment Fund (EIF)

5. Ms. Florence Ramson, formerly Head of Communications at the European Banking Federation (EBF) will join FoodDrinkEurope as Director of Communications in early April 2014.

6. Mr. Benoît Coeuré has been appointed to the Executive Board of the European Central Bank (ECB) for a term of eight years.

7. Ms. Beat Späth has been appointed as Director of Agricultural Biotechnology by the European Association for Bioindustries (EuropaBio)

8. Mr. Fi Giusto, President and CEO in charge of Fiat Research Center, has been appointed Chairman of the European Council for Automotive R&D (EUCAR)
