NEW APPOINTMENTS

• Claus Larsen-Jensen MEP, replaces Dan Jørgensen at the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament.
• Zbigniew Zaleski, a Polish politician and former MEP, has returned to the Parliament as part of the European People's Party.
• Anne-Laure Gassin has been appointed as policy officer in the European Commission.
• Danièle Nouy has been appointed by as chair of the supervisory board of the single supervisory mechanism at the European Central Bank.
• Professor Jean-Pierre Bourguignon has been appointed by the European Commission as as the next President of the European Research Council.
• Thomas Rehder has been elected as the new president of the European Community Shipowners' Associations (ECSA)
• Kleopatra Sidiropoulou has been appointed as  new Secretary General of the European Council of Young Farmers
• Seamus Jeffreson has been appointed as Director at CONCORD the European NGO confederation for relief and development, in replacement of Consoloat
