GLOBAL RENEWABLE ENERGY AND CONSERVATION TRUST (GRECT)

Created in 2006 by HRH Prince Laurent of Belgium the Global Renewable Energy and Conservation Trust (GRECT) of which HRH Prince Laurent is Administrator and President of the Board of Directors is located at the European Renewable Energy House. The European Renewable Energy House is a showcase of the latest technology regarding energy efficiency. In April 2007 HRH Prince Laurent received  the « National Global Energy Award » for the creation and promotion of this private foundation.

Advertising, Business and Retail Services (Organisation of exhibitions for commercial or advertising purposes; lobbying services for commercial purposes; market studies, research and analysis, in particular but not limited to the field of real estate, renewable energy and the preservation of real estate, architectural, historical and cultural heritages).

Insurance and Financial Services (Real estate affairs; financial project management; development of finance plans in relation to real estate development, refurbishments and requalifications; real estate management; real estate agencies and evaluation; real estate leasing; real estate brokers (valuation); accommodation bureaux (apartments); information and consultancy relating to these matters).

Construction and Repair Services (Information relating to construction, repair and installation, in particular for the sustainable development, innovation, quality of life and safeguard of the environment; construction, repair and installation services, among others for creating showcase buildings for renewable energy sources and energy efficiency; maintenance and renovation of buildings for its own account or for third parties; building construction supervision).

Education and Entertainment Services (Organizing and conducting exhibitions, seminars, conferences and roundtables for cultural and educational purposes; providing training in the field of technology, in particular environmental management, energy technology, energy efficiency, renewable energy, heating and cooling technologies, generating electricity and the integration of all renewable energy and efficiency technologies; publication and edition, of an informational magazine and of technical printed or electronic publications, publication of newsletters, pamphlets).
