Regional Offices:

  • East and North Finland EU Office: represents Regions of Central Ostrobothnia, Kainuu, Lapland, North Karelia, Northern Ostrobothnia, North Savo and South Savo.
  • Helsinki EU Office represents: City of Helsinki, Helsinki-Uusimaa Region, Häme Region, Kymenlaakso Region, Aalto University, University of Helsinki, Hanken School of Economics, Laurea University of Applied Sciences. Focused Areas include European Urban policy, cohesion policy, research and innovation policy, transport policy, environment and energy policy. The Helsinki EU office participates in European Regions Research and Innovation Network (ERRIN), Eurocities, Baltic Metropoles Network (BaltNet), Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR), CPMR Baltic Sea Commission, Baltic Sea States Subregional Co-operation (BSSC).
  • South Finland EU Office
  • Tampere Region EU Office: Collaboration between the City of Tampere, the municipalities from the Tampere City Region and the Council of Tampere Region. Since 2010, the office represents the entire Tampere Region in Brussels.
  • The EU Office of the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities represents 320 towns in Finland.
  • Turku-Southwest Finland European Office.
  • West Finland European Office: Represents 4 Regional Councils: South Ostrobothnia, Central Finland, Ostrobothnia and Satakunta.

  • Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK) (27 member associations, 16,000 companies across all business sectors, 950,000 workers): EK is a Member of BusinessEurope. Participation in Businesseurope's activities and preparing business positions are among EK's most important channels of influence on the EU level ( influencing major EU projects together with EK experts, monitoring EU issues and informing about these to EK's member associations and member companies, communicating EK's EU policies, networking with decision-makers in Brussels. EK has approximately 130 experts who are responsible for influencing the EU within their own areas of expertise.
