Assessment Criterion 1: Advocacy analysis is understood and explained with examples. Analysis includes but is not limited to, policy environment, audience and organizational resources
Assessment Criterion 2: The different spheres of government are identified and the specific decision-making structures that one has to influence are defined.
Assessment Criterion 3: The elements of an advocacy plan are understood and described with examples.
Assessment Criterion 4: The monitoring and evaluation of advocacy plans is understood and described with examples
5. UTILISING LOBBYING TECHNIQUES AND SKILLS TO SUPPORT ONE’S FUNCTION AND ROLES
Assessment Criterion 1: The techniques and skills of lobbying are explained with reference to one’s function
Assessment Criterion 2: Issues that need to be lobbied are identified and discussed with examples
Assessment Criterion 3: The methods for measuring the effectiveness of lobbying are identified and integrated into own lobbying context
Assessment 4: Codes of conduct in respect of lobbying are identified and applied to own lobbying context.
