AALEP INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
AALEP Institutional Membership is all inclusive and refers to Higher Education Institutions and Academic Staff; Professional Societies of Lobbyists; Corporations; Law Firms; Consultancies; Non-Governmental Organizations.
Our aim is to contribute to the development and improvement of public policy advocacy education and to enhance the status of both public policy advocacy education and professional public policy advocates in society.
Public policy advocacy education entails devising and implementing strategies for changing laws and public policies; lobbying and legislative work; capacity building; relationship building; forming networks; leadership development; organizing and building coalitions; working with and through the media to inform and shape opinion.
Our Objectives:
- To provide appropriate services and information about public policy advocacy education.
- To improve communications and exchanges between teachers, researchers and students in different countries
- To promote cooperation between industry and those engaged in the process of public policy advocacy education.
- To act as a link between our members and other societies or organizations.
- To contribute to the recruitment of good students in public policy advocacy education.
