EUROPEAN TOURISM FORUM 2015

The European Tourism Forum is an annual event, co-organised with the country that holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union during the second half of the year. The Forum’s objectives are political and they are often linked to an informal meeting of Ministers responsible for Tourism from EU countries.

The fourteenth European Tourism Forum will take place in Luxembourg on 17-18 September 2015. The Forum will be dedicated to four topics that are currently of particular importance to the sector:

  1. Tourism digitalisation;
  2. Promotion of Europe via transnational and pan-European thematic products;
  3. Skills and training;
  4. Streamlining the regulatory and administrative framework for tourism.

The event will gather together around 200 high-level public and private tourism stakeholders.

Christian D. de Fouloy, the Chair of AALEP that is hosting the recently established European Travel Advocacy Coalition (ETAC) has been invited to attend the Forum.
