AALEP WELCOMES THE 8TH EABC's 2014 AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS MISSION TO BRUSSELS

The EABC's (European Australian Business Council) 2014 Australian Business Mission to Europe will visit Warsaw, Brussels and Madrid (29 June-4 July).

EABC's Business Missions are strongly supported by the Australian Government and European Unon as an important activity to strengthen bi-lateral co-operation on public and economic policy developmentys affecting issues between Australia and Europe as its lagest economic partner.

The purpose of these annual business missions is to engage the leadership of the institutions of the European Union, member states and peak business and industry groups in ongoing dialogue on the Australia-EU trade and investment relationship. The missions also provide Australian delegates with insights into public and economic policy developments occuring within Europe at both national and EU levels. THis provides delegates with up-to-date information on critical areas such as the regulation of global trade, financial markets, economic performance and development across the 500M EU market, energy and climate change and the EU's engagement with the Asia-Pacific region, the trans-Atlantic relationship, and other regions. Delegates are also discussing developments occuring within Australia and the Asia-Pacific region with European counterparts, and exploring opportunities to increase bilateral trade and investment.
