PROFILE: BEROEPSVERENIGING VOOR PUBLIC AFFAIRS (BVPA)/ Dutch Association for Public Affairs

The BVPA stimulates the development of the PA field, provides a knowledge platform for the profession and promotes the interests of public affairs professionals in the Netherlands. The Association counts 600 members who are working as public affairs professionals in companies, trade associations, consulting firms, NGOs or governments.

The BVPA aims to increase the professionalism of its members by providing them with knowledge, skills and information about public affairs related developments. In addition, the BVPA aims to enhance the reputation of the Public Affairs profession, and increase awareness to a wider audience. Finally BVPA acts as spokesman for the public affairs professionals when it comes to the interests of the profession.
