The overall goal is to marshal the industry behind essential policy objectives for tourism, transport, aviation and investment in Europe

 ETAC’s Policy Goals for Tourism

  • Increase recognition of tourism as a driver of economic growth and jobs
  • Grow demand for travel to and within Europe
  • Boost investment in tourism infrastructure
  • Enhance the visitor experience
  • Improve the competitiveness of European tourism and increase funding for promotion
  • Expand the tourism workforce

ETAC’s policy and advocacy agenda is driven by policy panels that bring together the public and private sector experience of members. Panels include:

These are supplemented by occasional roundtables on cultural tourism and major events.
